| CEDA TRUST is a non-government organization engaged in the emancipation and development of the marginalised and over-exploited people through appropriate action like campaigning, organising, mobilizing, educating, assisting, networking, etc. It is a social action group aiming at social change through people empowerment, enabling the people to become the key actors in rewriting their own destiny. |
| The children, the women, the disabled people, the landless people, the small and marginal farmers and the slum dwellers are capacitated to change the society and to achieve their own development in the changed society. Peoples’ organisations at the grassroots level, especially, women’s organisations are formed and linked to Federations and Movements to effectively facilitate the developmental efforts. |
| CEDA TRUST was registered on 16-12-1992 under the Indian Trust Act as a non-profit non-governmental organisation governed by a Board of Trustees and based at Dindigul District of Tamil Nadu. It has also got registration under sections 12-A and 80-G of the Income Tax Act. |
| CEDA TRUST is also widely acknowledged for its expertise in Support Service to Networks and Donor Agencies and in documentation work in rapport with the media. |
